Doing a quick test run using a friends facebook, step 4 took me to a point where I had to sign into an alternate email. One that the person you are pretending to be has access to and not one you can just create. I'm also on a mobile device if that changes anything.

Edit: so you'd need to somehow find out an alternative email they use and do the "forgot password" process again.
