Character/class/stat/equipment. I haven't played Bravely Default enough to argue whether or not you are right. Games like Skyrim are known for their customization. Fire Emblem has some.

As far as class goes, you get to choose which role you want to work with and you get new abilities using that job. As far as character customization, there isn't any because it's completely story based game. You can easily change your equipment in the game, though I guess you were looking for customizing the equipment themselves which would take away from the point of the jobs and same with putting points into stats. the game is great for what it is and changing it with customization would really take away from it.
