nope you can make the fakest account and they would still give you a new esim aslong as the imei, and device id have not been used before. Ive done mint quite a few times as its the easiest to do, google fi requires a google account, cricket wireless has an app. they all do ask for an address but you dont have to put in your real address. I have never been asked to provide supporting documentation such as drivers license, passport, etc. one thing to note is that if you accidentally delete your esim profile then you will not be able to download it ever again and you wasted the trial.
