Hi, I need to get some information and advice from you about a strange event with PayPal that I am struggling with.
So the situation is this: a few days ago I filed a dispute against the seller. When creating this dispute, I chose the reason "Item Not Received". Anyway, in the description of the entire dispute, I described the situation that I received PEB (I wrote that I did not receive 2 of the 3 laptops I ordered so there was only one laptop in the package). I also wrote to them that I contacted the seller by phone but it didn't help.

Once I filed this dispute, it was not automatically accepted as a dispute by PayPal and had the status "We are currently investigating this matter" for several days.
It was very strange for me because during previous disputes they contacted the seller after a while and immediately the status was "Waiting for the seller's response" and the timer was set for 10 days.
This morning I received an email updating my case.
"Based on the information received, we have changed the reason for reporting the case. You are reporting a claim because there is a significant difference between the item or service and the original description."
It turns out that, unfortunately for me, they turned my dispute into a claim... And more specifically a SNAD claim.
So I can't count on a response or no response from the seller. Currently, the case status on my PayPal account is "Under review". And the estimated resolution date is scheduled for 20 days.

Now the question for you, dear friends, is it worth pursuing this claim? The value of this order definitely exceeds 2k.
Do you have any way to win such a claim for sure? I saw that there is an option to send messages and evidence to PayPal in the form of, for example, photos.
Do you think that sticking to my version of events from PEB will simply be enough?
Or maybe I should cancel this claim and try to create a dispute again, but this time under SNAD not DNA.

Try to contact them, maybe the seller provided info that the product was delivered, u should backup your claims with straight-forward proof.
SNAD won´t get u far.
