You told paypal PEB so I'm not sure why they didn't ask you to file a police report or an affidavit. I think wait solely because you can't open another one if you close it.The claim has just started to be analyzed by PayPal and they are to write when they need something from me so maybe they will ask me to file a PR or affidavit soon, I hope not, but we'll see.
In the meantime, generate the return label from the company you bought it from. You can generate it before 30 days, and you can send it back after 30 days if needed. Its just important to generate the return label before 30 days/14 days/whatever the return timeframe is, because once the timeframe is up you can't generate one.
Thank you for the return label tip!

Btw in my opinion I filed the dispute properly because PEB is same as item not received, I didn't see the point in filing this dispute as SNAD.
Anyway, does the reason matter? I had previously created a dispute for EB and I also checked "Item Not Received" when creating it, and within a few minutes the case was updated with the status of waiting for a response from the seller. Maybe there is simply a limit and they checked my transaction thoroughly so they decided to convert the dispute into a claim.
Yes, if you close this case you cannot open a new one. Imo at this stage you have nothing to lose, wait and see what happens, worst scenario you send the items back and try again

Thats the first time, paypal acting so wierd.
Do you already have an action plan? You continue with the claim or cancel it?

PP just got down to work and is slowly starting to verify the situation.(02-14-2024, 12:06 AM)Novodur© Wrote: Are you from DE? I have exact the same problem as you!Yes me as well. Paypal claims are starting to become harder.

Usually it's an instant "we have raised a claim and the company has 10 days to respond" but now they make you wait multiple days before they officially open the claim and send it to the company.
Any info backing this?
