They maybe want a picture from the package.
After that you will get an instant replacement.
Only 2 out of 7 cases (people i know) it was possible to return the replacement for full money back.
So full money back is like 10-25% chance that they offer it.
But you could sell both devices.

so if I return the replacement will they refuse to refund me or be difficult about it, I’d prefer just returning the replacement and receiving a refund.
