RE: SE A Massive TV #2
DNA on a massive TV like this would, in my opinion, only be a massive headache. Take this with a grain of salt because I have never tried a TV, this is purely logical, and I'm also not from the UK so I'm not entirely sure what the local laws and normal way of business would be there regarding online purchases and claims, but a courier would (most likely):
1) Never leave a package that big on the porch, which eliminates a potential DNA claim for porch pirates.
2) Never forget that he actually delivered the package to you personally, or to your neighbours. A package that big isn't easily forgettable. Once a DNA claim is made, especially for an item like that, I'm sure they'll open an investigation with the delivery company, who in turn will reach out to the courier. In my country (EU), the courier is then required to knock on your door and figure out what happened, so once he confirms he did infact deliver the package to an authorized party like the actual receiver or neighbours then the claim is rejected.
3) Never forget the weight. A 75 inch TV is bound to give the delivery driver a hernia, even when using a handtruck lol, so EB would definitely not work, but I'm assuming this speaks for itself.

Again, purely theoretical, but what potentially could work is:
1) Wrong item delivered. Obviously depends on a lot of factors, however if the dimensions and weight are nearly the same, you could potentially swap the TV for a different, cheaper TV that the retailer also sells. Does come with risks though, for example if Amazon rejects your claim then they'll simply 'dispose' of the TV you sent them, and I'm guessing a lot of retailers have the same policy. Anyhow, if the dimensions and weight are the same, the swapped TV you're sending back is also sold by them and they don't record serial numbers (check the invoice or order details to confirm, not a bulletproof method but better than nothing) then this could be a viable option.
2) Have someone drop a FTID/scan a LIT. Have them mimic the weight and dimensions if possible. I know that FTID/LITs are frowned upon by a lot of members on this forum, but I'm simply giving an option. You could potentially try a warranty claim with a serial number via the manufacturer, an excuse like dead pixels would be enough for them to give you a label. This would save you the risk of potentially being stuck with a TV you paid full price for, and you'd only lose the cost of the scan incase it fails (along with a potential address blacklist, but oh well).

Good luck, I hope some more members could chip in with their take on this.
