Hi, i have read 20+ threads all containing different information about this topic, so i am opening this one to hopefully get to know more about this SE.
I want to SE an iPhone, i know the methods and the risks, but i am reading different stories about Apple blocking the IMEI after the refund, some say they do, some say they don't.

Is buying from different sellers better? (Regarding the imei block)

Should i get it on Amazon or Apple Online Store, and, is it safe after getting the refund to link my Apple id to the phone?

Also, should i buy the phone with my Apple ID or a new one?

I am in Europe, but open to hearing about it from different countries aswell.

I have never heard of Apple bricking IPhones, but I have read that Amazon does, rarely.

If they don't brick the IPhone, there also should not be any problem linking your Apple ID to the device - even if it seems scary.

Whether or not it is better to buy the Phone with your ID or another, I've never seen problems related to this. You choose.

I personally bought my SE'd item from Apple with my own Apple ID, wihtout any complications.

Do you think buying it from a retailer would be better? Or even buying it on a big refurbished site.
