I filed the police report, because I read on a few forms that that would be the easiest and most applicable option for now.
Now I'm getting emails after emails, saying that they could not confirm and use the PR because it doesn't include a stamp, is missing information or because it is not in my local police office.

I'm not sure which type of PR you filed, nor which they were expecting.
If you have a legitimate PR tho, it's just a matter of pushing the reps.

They will try to discourage you, but you have the advantage.
They asked for PR, you complied. Push, push & push harder : they will bend, eventually.

I filed a PR on the website official website of the Police of Berlin, they provided me the link to the website.

The PR is legit but they won't accept it as legit, as it doesn't contain a stamp from a police officer, or an official report from an officer. They want me to go to the actual police station and file my PR there, which I'm not capable of since I don't live in Germany.

How can I push? They respond with the same message every time, like they're not even reading my emails:

"A careful review of your account reflects that the correct information has already been provided.
We couldn't verify the details of the Police Report you provided. The report must be filed in the local police station of where the package was delivered to.

Therefore, we're unable to assist you any further in this matter. We would ask you to resolve the issues and re share the Police Report with us."

2 weeks ago I ordered the Sony XM5 headphones on Amazon.de. I live in The Netherlands myself. I wanted to SE the package.

- I claimed DNA
- No signing was needed on arrival
- Account has 3 legit orders
- Other account from amazon.nl has 20+ legit order and one recently completed SE with PEB method

I waited for 2 days and contacted Amazon through chat. Rep told me I had to wait for a few days and contact them for a refund if I didn't receive anything.
Waited for a few days, contacted them again through chat and told them I did not receive my package, so I would like a refund since I already ordered a new one for my nephews birthday. The response from the rep was that they would email me with more details in a few days.

The next day I received an email with the following information:

"I want to make sure that you actually get your shipment in your hands as soon as possible.

As we have discussed, I have successfully raised the investigation with the carrier, we will get back to you on your registered email address within 3 working days.

Carrier will check with the local delivery person.

This investigation will take around 3 business days.

If the carrier fails to deliver the parcel in 3 days, we will initiate the refund of the order without any Delay.

For now, There is no action required from your end.

If you receive the shipment before the results of the carrier investigation are available within 3 working days please contact us via phone, chat or email."

From this moment, I thought I had already sealed the deal, and waited for 3 days to collect the refund.

I chatted Amazon up again, but this time the rep told me he needs a PR. I received the standard PR email saying that they want me to file a report at the German police office website, they even provided me a link to the website. But, they also send me an email in German, coming from a different amazon email address, saying that they essentially are flagging my account because of this suspicious order. From this moment I lightly panicked. I filed the police report, because I read on a few forms that that would be the easiest and most applicable option for now.

I don't know what to do anymore, and this is already going on for 2 weeks. Spamming them with 'Please verify again' just results in the same automated response. And I'm definitely not going to Germany and file a police report there.

Do you guys have any suggestions for this situation? Should I file a new report, or stay with this one?  I appreciate all help, as I'm feeling quite lost right now. I want to try and still pursue this SE. Thank you in advance.
