It all began when a genuine situation occurred. The driver representing a prominent delivery company based in the UK, known for capturing photographs of their deliveries, arrived in my neighborhood and, seemingly by accident, delivered the package to the wrong address. I promptly reported the issue and took it upon myself to retrieve the parcel from the neighboring residence's porch. The photograph provided by the driver appeared nonsensical, lacking any relevant information such as a signature. Additionally, the delivery details only contained an unrelated first name. Now, I find myself faced with a challenging dilemma as the contents of the parcel are valued at thousands of pounds. The company is currently conducting an investigation and has initiated contact with the courier. You think this one can succeed? If yes, since this is a very expensive package, do you think it's risky to proceed and ask for a refund? Let me know your thoughts, peeps!
Very prose writing style you got there, great story arc as well lol.
The value doesn't matter at all, but get ready to fill out a form that the delivery company will give you. Don't fill out a PR, since you're not at fault. Claim that you and your neighbor weren't home for a couple of days. You didn't give permission to just drop the package off, so that's on the driver.
But maybe @mothered can chime in.
Ha, thank you!
To be honest, it all happened accidentally and out of the blue, which means that I am willing to play along and see what comes out. Let's wait for @mothered then.
Gotta take advantage of this opportunity! You can definitely go ahead claiming DNA already, that's a safe bet. Mothered may just add some details.
Whats the item in question if I may ask? Claiming DNA on a 2x2m fridge could be difficult.
