Yes, Amz does not care the reason you give them. The customer rep is just following a script of questions, really just depends on your account/related accounts. You can also DNA it.

TV was back in 2021 and under 1k but i can say EB was used for a macbook recently. PR was required for the Mac though. If your account is good the worst is them asking you for a PR if it's an high value item.

Didn’t they bother you for the weight problem?
Did you stated that the amazon box was intact? and did you said the tv box was sealed or tampered? How may days for refund?
Maybe they hardened they controls now..

The TV box was empty, refunded while on phone. Shouldn't matter if your account is clean like I have said.  You can just DNA it if you want. I partially EB because my house # was on photo.
