The broken pair did not come out of Amazon's Inventory, hence they will not register when the return Is scanned and checked by their Inwards goods department.

You think I should just return my legit pair and give  up? Or order a pair from warehouse and return the broken and legit pair and be left with a new
pair?

dude just listen , if you already bought your new pairs from "AMAZON" just replace the return with your old one then describe the return as a damaged item ... what's so hard in that , just make sure both are "IDENTICAL" ...
