Hi all, last year i bought a pair of airpods max from airpods max that have now broken (no physical damage to the eye, but it cuts out in the left ear all the time) and they are out of warranty.

Would ordering the same color headphones on amazon and sending back the old broken pair in the box work? I doubt they check serials but thats just my assumptions.

great! thanks. Yeah id honestly just say "they do not play audio in one ear" and hopefully that is enough. Doubt they'd ask for me to speak to Apple about it (but i have done already) so i wouldnt be lying to them even if i said i had lol. Thank you, ill be doing it soon.
