Good day,
As I’m planning SE an items I don’t have but I have collected some products serial numbers. Could someone advice me if manufacturers keep track on which product is sold in which country? My point is can I photoshop an invoice from Spanish online retailer with the serial number of an item bought in Romania or other European country?

I have never tried that method before and I’m not familiar with how actually serial numbers work.

Did it occur to you that maybe not everyone has knowledge about quite a niche question?
You also didn't add which manufacturer or company you are asking about which is crucial since some companies do, and others don't

Someone with experience let’s say like you, who knows that they are companies which do it and others which don’t.. will know several companies which he can share here..
IMEI stands for mobile phone ID number, nobody is doing SE on uncommon, unpopular brands, so basically they’re 3,4 famous brands..
Serial numbers of other tech equipment could be easily found.. The point is to share if any manufacturer keeps track on which product serial number is sold in which country. It’s simple and easy. )
