I recently purchased an iPhone with some other items around 6 months ago, the iPhone is still under warranty and I was wondering whether it’s possible to claim under warranty the battery is leaking and therefore I cannot return the item due to post office not accepting it due to health risk. Has anyone tried this and will this result in a blocked iPhone through the IMEI (phone was purchased directly from Apple).

I recently did a successful refund on a Macbook, they did not block out my IMEI on it. Not too sure about a cellular device though.

Do you mind saying more about this refund? How exactly did you manage to pull it off? Are you in the UK?
