Boxing Method advice? (Samsung) 03-24-2023, 08:01 PM

I am working on SEing a Samsung S23 Ultra, and I'm intending to use the boxing method. How important is dry ice in success rate? I read on @mothered 's site that replacing it with other objects works too. Am I correct in assuming that the dry-ice has a better success rate because the weight discrepancy makes it more believable? If so, how much impact does it have, either on success or the length/complexity of the process? Is it fine to over-estimate the weight when packing it?
I got the s23 Ultra (unlocked) from the Samsung website, and they let me pick like $50 of accessories for free (I picked 2 cases). Until now I had thought I'd put the packaging of the items in the return box, but leave them open and empty, as if someone had just taken out the phone and cases and left everything else behind. Do freebies like this risk screwing me over if they don't receive them? I didn't see any policy that suggest this but since bundle deals are sometimes handled differently I'd love to hear others' thoughts/experiences.
Any reason not to ship it back the same box it all arrived in? (I peeled off the labels it had when I received it.) It's a small box but big enough.
Any other advice is appreciated, I'm new to *online* SEing, mostly done in-store stuff until now.
Thanks!
