Do I have to request that the driver come to pick it up for VID to work?

What do you mean by VID?

If I was referring to requesting that the courier come to my address to pick up the package, instead of me having to take it to the courier's office, so that the boxing method works, as I understand it, that's what I was trying to say.

I'm not sure if you saw the sheet that says to request the driver's signature upon receipt, and I imagine I could forge the signature. How can they know that I actually signed it?

Your signature (whatever It may be), will not match the drivers.

So, should I ask the courier to sign the return guide? According to the instructions that were given to me in the email, they are important. What do you think?

"Please make a photocopy of the return guide so that the messenger can sign it along with their name." and "Please DO NOT seal the box with any other type of tape (brown tape) that is NOT the security tape labeled inside the kit, otherwise the kit will not be received at our facilities. Take photos before sending the box."

When the package arrives, I will upload photos of what the container looks like and any instructions that come with it so that everyone can see. Can you let me know which method you think would be best to use, if you don't mind?

Yes, sorry. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not really sure which method would work best, but I imagined that the boxing method would be the most appropriate. However, that's why I'm asking to see what opinion people with more experience recommend.
