[mothered]

Got the following back from CS -

"I have contacted the police  and I was unable to validate the report due to data protection. To resolve this issue, I kindly request you to contact the police and get a  confirmation email regarding the investigation status or contact us after xxxxx for best possible resolution"

I sent the correcspondence to CS, and spoke on chat about next steps, first person I spoke to said they'd check the email and contact me about response/refund, then another person said they were going to try to verify the PR over the phone again...and worst case wait over a month to resolve

I'm hoping I won't have to wait that long?!

@mothered

You've fully complied with the company's request, so It's now out of your hands and In theirs.

Get In touch again and tell them of your compliance, as well as It being their responsibility to deal with the PR and see the claim through to the end.

"Thank you for providing us with your Police Report.

At this time, we're unable to validate your report with the police department. Please contact us after X April 2023 and we will review our options. Once X+10 April 2023 passes, we're no longer able to assist."

The latest message from them. So now do I wait or push further?

Did you state this:

tell them of your compliance, as well as It being their responsibility to deal with the PR and see the claim through to the end.
