Everyone except Amazon's pea-brain reps can see why the PR Is not relevant to your claim.
Good.
We shall await further developments.
I contacted them on chat to discuss this, and they ended the chat with the following:
Accordingly, based on our investigations, we won’t be able to provide a replacement or refund for this order at this time. If you think that someone has intercepted your item without your permission, this is a crime, and you may wish to contact your local police authorities to pursue this matter further.
If the issue isn't resolved after contacting local police, please contact us again and include a PDF, JPG or PNG copy of the police report to the following address : uk-deliveryinvestigation@Amazon.co.uk
I have a copy of the police report, however what should I actually say in the email ?
@mothered
There's no need to go Into further detail.
Small update on this. I sent the PR to the email listed, got another copy paste response from CS email and replied to them the exact same thing with the PR. Didn't hear anything back for a week (didn't chase as life was super busy) and finally contact chat today asking for an update and expressing my frustration in the lack of contact and the agent said they will personally be checking the PR with the police and will get back to me by end of the day with an update on refund.
So fingers crossed its looking positive...
