Cant agree more about the effectiveness of silence, one of the 48 Laws of Power:

"Law 4: Always Say Less than Necessary: Say little and be ambiguous, leaving the meaning to others to interpret. The less you say, the more intimidating and powerful you are."

I'm leaning towards easy to open, resealable non-Apple products across multiple stores with high demand and less security precautions that's repeatable, scalable, and fun.

Wise as Apple products are white hot these days, pun intended.

Also I made one contact who offered to buy more in the future. I positioned myself as a bargain hunter and I go to auctions that sell foreclosed public storage units. Another person's tragedy is someone else's treasure I told each buyer lol

Good cover story, I find it fun thinking up stories to tell buyers or to tell the retailer for why I am returning the item.

That's why I like this method for instore returns. I get real time feedback of the process and I can adapt and proceed with another store closeby within minutes.
