UNIQLO SE 02-20-2023, 02:57 AM

I had an idea earlier this week, and decided to try it. Surprisingly it worked.
Uniqlos tags are RFID based, you place the item into the self checkout basket without scanning a barcode right?
With that in mind, I wondered if it was possible to switch the tags to something cheaper.
So I did it. I grabbed a cheap item, took the tag off, removed the tag from the item I want and did a lil switcheroo.
The trays for the items don’t have scales either, so it seems the only way for someone to know is cross check from system to camera or a staff member is watching.
I got items that all together would’ve been around $50, down to less than $10.
I wonder if there are any flaws to this system, thoughts?
Happy SEing.
