It's crazy how Police reports are basically fear barriers that a few are reluctant to cross. There is zero risk filing one, it is part of their silly protocol.

While what you say is true what Amazon have achieved with implementing this policy is a way to place a limit on how many times you can do this as doing it too often will raise suspicion with the police.

If i file a report and amazon still ends up denying it does that ruin my chances of returning it?
