They call the police station and confirm the police report was filed. They have done this to me personally, and I also know many people who experience the same.

What was the report for? Meaning what action or crime was committed?  And where did they get the number from to call?

I can confirm that they say the do, but they don't actually do it.  And that most Law Enforcement Agencies will not tell anyone that over the phone, without filing out a form and paying the fee.

As long as the method works, it doesn' t matter, right?

Whether they do it or not, you won’t get past that step without a PR. And faking one is kinda retarded, makes you such an easy target.

I won't argue with you, if that works for you, then stick with what you know and does. I want you to succeed, no matter what. Understand that, I want to help.

What I do want you to do is becareful, you fill out a PR, that's a paper trail, not to mention falsifying a PR on top of the SE.

Simply, there are tons of places that will not give you a case number, let alone a report. So, that wouldn't be fair business practice. And depending on the method, most likely it's not a crime.

You can have success without a PR, absolutely 100%.

Contact your local PD and ask what they will do. If you don't like that answer, contact your County PD. (Ask them if anyone can just call and confirm the PR).

I understand what you are saying, you get what I'm saying? No paper trails, can't give them false information, that's worse than making up your own report. Some places allow self documenting non-criminal reports, could require a stamp or notary, or just a witness.

Big markets merely asking for a PR is not the end of the line. Especially if it's not a crime and/or not allowed or done in your area.
