Meeting up with people is something I would avoid at almost any cost.
The hassle, possibility to get scammed/robbed, for it to be a set up.
Also the amount of people interested is significantly reduced when you narrow it down to one city compared to the world.

Oh wow i have to say i wasn't expecting this to be said.

In my life i did probably more than 30 meet ups and never had any issues. I usually just pick a somewhat crowded place - for example food courts in the malls. To be honest I've never experienced a single negative outcome of such meeting and i got the full amount every single time.

But you know what, let's say that one meeting turned out to be a set up

What's the worst outcome?

No one will beat you up in a public place.

Your items might get stolen - that is possible and I can easily see that happening, however there is not really a chance for a situation where your getting threatened (for example physical violence) due to other people being around. All I can imagine is someone doing a grab and run. If that's the case, well what is there to say...

Very nice thread OP. Have you considered using gift cards to make the purchase on the account? That way after refund you would need to buy a second pair to get your money off the account but i dont see why it would not work. I have had luck doing this with Amazon.

Very nice thread. I think using a single use VCC like the from Revolut is better than using paypal

Any idea how many times you can use these single use cards per day / week / month ? There is bound to be some kind of limit.
