Just to note an experience I've had with an online perfume vendor:

I received the fragrance, transferred the contents into another bottle, broke the original bottle sent to me and then contacted support.

Support requested pictures of the damage which I could provide, after reviewing the images they told me that the perfume could not have arrived to me in a broken state and that they would not be helping me.

I requested a form of proof that the item was in proper condition before delivery, photographic evidence. They said that they can confirm the item would not have reached me like that, they didn't start an investigation all they did was tell me I was wrong and refused any further assistance. I asked for escalation to which they responded there is nobody that it can be escalated to.

Mainly raising awareness to the fact they could outright deny it and refuse to help, which is pretty abhorrent but it happened. (this was not a high end store either btw)

What company was this?
One of the companies that im doing is asking for the broken bottle back..
