Okay so now I got the crime reference number. These are the conditions from Amazon to receive a refund.

In order for us to validate your Police Report, it must be in a "Complete/Closed" state and include the following:

- The delivery address regarding this incident.

- The items were delivered according to the carrier tracking.

- The report was created for stolen items/theft/larceny/incorrect delivery or similar crime.

- The date the report was created.

We’re unable to accept Police Reports that are in “pending” or any other incomplete status.

All the above conditions must be completed for the refund to proceed.

The police should well and truly fulfil It.

I have contacted 4-5 times Amazon today they are not checking with the police and kept me on hold for 30 minutes and then said that they are unable to connect to the police.

I called the police after the call and in one minute the police picked my call and said the investigation is over . The police even sent a email that I forwarded to Amazon but they are not accepting it. They are saying they have to validate themselves. But they are not calling the police. They are going on the live chat and the police are never on the live chat . So this means I won’t get anything even though I followed what they asked me to !
