You need to be sure of the weights prior to proceeding with the SE, so do exactly that.

What do you mean by as long as it fits in the consignment you receive as the correct item. Are you saying that I should return the wrong item in the Amazon packaging of the item I intend to SE?

Yes, that's basically how the wrong Item received method works. Upon opening the box/package, a different Item was enclosed.

Put simply, you're not supposed to have the packaging of the wrong Item - It was sent to another address, hence It doesn't belong to you.

That makes sense.

I've identified a different item which is a similar weight and I'm going to buy it tomorrow.
I've bought the item I intend to SE, but it's not sold by Amazon. Will this matter?
