I wouldn't involve neighbours in stuff that could possibly go wrong.
When I lived in an apartment complex I knew some apartments were empty and used those as drop addresses (moreover, couriers would leave the boxes down in the hallway for anybody to grab, awesome DNA material    )

Well, the valve index arrived and I have heard nothing from steam regarding my return and nothing has happened to my account, I've proceeded to do the controllers yesterday and awaiting their reply for my RMA request, I'll see in a couple days if any bills or anything happen to my accounts.

But I can confirm this is working if you have a drop address nothing will happen to you Just push for an advanced replacement.

Make sure to use this on an alt account, but having an aged account with a bit of playtime will increase your chances
