Pursued the claim with FedEx Canada and FedEx HongKong. The last e-mail was from a FedEx CA representative telling me he had forwarded the information to their Hong Kong unit. If anything else was needed, he would be in touch with me. He suggested that in the meantime, I should contact the company to ask for a refund or replacement.
I sent the e-mail to the customer service support as an attachment, she replied that FedEx is waiting for further confirmation because the package might've been damaged by a car crash after delivery (what...?). She mentionned FedEx is going to check their cameras to see if there was a car crash after the package had been delivered. How does that make any sense.
From my understanding, it seems as if they are trying to deny responsibility and say it has happened after the package was delivered (caused by a car crash. Wtf?).
What is your take on the situation @mothered ?
