I’ve just replied to his email. I’ve thanked him for conducting a thorough investigation and have said I appreciate that the item was placed in the box, however, the fact of the matter is that I have not received the item. I’ve also said that the package was damaged which indicates to me that it was tampered with and the item was stolen just before it arrived at my address.

I also replied to his statement of: “If you have any suggestions as to how this situation came to be after the delivery..”.
In my response, I said that there is no way “this situation came to be after the delivery”, as that would mean that the item in question was PRESENT. Also, had the item been present, I would have absolutely no reason to contact you in regards to a missing item.

Hopefully should get a reply today.

I must say, you've worded It exceptionally well- covered every angle, and justified why you didn't receive the Item.
