Well, im not sure if thats what they meant, but when i called, they said that they will have a look before processing a refund.

It Is what they meant.

It's beyond me why they'd make such a request.

Should i go with a return consignment (They send courier to collect) instead?

Did they provide It as another option?

Initially when I contacted, they gave me the option of a return consignment for a replacement, so I'm assuming this would also be the case for a refund
