im in an apartment building and my street name got changed recently, so i thought to just send it here using the old street name (mail/packages still come here either way) and use a random name that doesnt live here
and also making sure not to put an apaartment number on it

its a little awkward to make a claim for someone who doesnt exist

So whose credentials will the claim be based on?

well by telling the company my friend didnt receive the gift i ordered. and the claim will be based on my credentials since i paid for it

in practice, that would be the only thing i would change for future orders. especially what ive learned about signatures, i would just use my name for the order instead
