I just randomly received an email from gc-address-verification asking for a utility bill to prove my identity. Weird that they sent it after closing the account.

Yeah that's normal. They'll reopen it if they're satisfied with what you sent.

Now they're asking me for the gift card receipts or a picture of the physical cards or an email or sms from the person who "gifted" them to me. They say my account will be reinstated as soon as I upload the receipts. The thing is I bought them with crypto. Do you think faking the receipts would work or can Amazon cross-check/verify them?
