Thank you as always for your insights and time. That was my second option by doing the sealed box. Apparently, they go quite easy with return and offer a trial period where if you aren't satisfied you can return it within the allowed timeframe. I did some researched and the official website has a section for refurbished product where they sell used and certified products from return for a lower price. They mentioned on the refurbished section that 

A refurbished product is one that’s been returned to Bose, for any reason.

which mean if they every suspect that the sealed return is tampered they might take a more meticulous check. I might give it a go or simply try an authorized retailer instead that ship with a courier.

Not sure if they thoroughly check sealed returns. Obviously, I don't want to be stuck with an expensive retail price tag headphone that actually cost a few bucks to make  lol!
