another thing i realised during my SE was that the item wasnt even sold by amazon, it was sold by another company but I think the way i saved it at the end by talking about all the bad reviews the company has and that the item claims its brand new but came looking refurbished 100% saved it for me.

You certainly planned and executed the SE extremely well, by using every disadvantage/Inconsistency to your advantage.
