they said I needed the department name and how to contact them, but when I called the police they told me they think it has something to do with the delivery driver and they can’t continue with a police report as they don’t think it’s a crime. So I called amazon and spoke to the manager and they still won’t budge saying I have to have a police report although I told them what the police said. I didn’t get a letter as this was on the phone but I have a transcript of the chat that they sent me. I explained it all to them and they still don’t care

Get a letter from the police stating why they cannot file a report, and then forward It to Amazon.
