I have done that several times, in fact I have been sending emails almost daily for a month. However they just don't respond. The only response I received was yesterday on bezos' behalf, and they said the same thing even though I mentioned a refund was issued already.

Did you provide them a copy of the refund correspondence?

I remember having read somewhere that refunds may take up to 90 days if your account is closed. Is this actually true?

I've definitely experienced 60 days, but not 90.
