The account has over 500 orders over a period of 5 years, none since July 2021 and has a different name / old address on it.

In that case, It's good to go.

I thought the same credentials were used as the other account.

I was thinking of adding my new address on it but using the same name that's already on it. Could probably add different payment details to use as well. Would that still come up should an investigation arise?

Amazon Is exceptionally good at linking accounts, therefore a matching address will most likely be detected.
