There’s no marking that indicates it’s my house

I understand that.

My previous post Is based on the futility of the marking - If It was your house.

The document is a parcel declaration of non receipt. All they want is:

1 - Full name on the order, full delivery address including the postcode

2 - Order number

3 - Tracking reference

4 - Date of order, item/s missing, quantity and price

5 - Very brief description of the issue itself (eg. “driver delivered to my shed, but the parcel was not there”)

And for me to sign it.

If that's the full contents of the document, It's not legally binding, so It's fine to go ahead and sign It.

They ask for me to check with my neighbours

Good.

They believe the package Is missing, hence at this stage, there's no evidence to decline your claim.

and They say if it is a false statement, it could lead to prosecution

Where did they state that? Email or otherwise?

Since they’ve asked me to check with my neighbours, if in the future they ask if I  checked with my neighbours, would saying that I knocked on the door but there was no answer be a good excuse?

To confirm It, they may ask you to speak with the neighbours, so tell them you've done exactly that.

On the document it states it is a legally binding document as well as it could lead to prosecution. They did say I should immediately get in contact if the items do end up being found so if things go south I’ll contact them saying someone delivered it.
