iPhone/Macbook refund on Amazon 01-27-2022, 11:36 PM

Hello guys, I‘m going to refund a Macbook or iPhone (maybe both seperately) and my method is going to be sealed box. I‘m prepared but I need to know about the worst case scenario.
First of all this method has a high success. But if we assume that it fails and the employee decides to check the content of the box.
How would you be able to get out of the situation? (Because you put the sealing on)
I‘d say the higher success sealed box method is using a dummy phone.
Same with the Macbook..
So for me there is a risk to fail directly after your return if the content gets checked and I guess it would be pretty hard to reverse the situation.
The last option where you may fail after some time could be that the further customer who gets the refunded box decides to report it to the police or Apple? Over S/N or IMEI if you link your Apple account to the phone or MacBook.
What do you think and if you already have experience with the mentioned things feel free to share it with us.
Thanks.
