It's a variation of the so-called FTID, which I obviously don't support. Anyway, the Incident below pertaining to unable to scan the consignment, could be due to the Ink prematurely fading (to some degree) at the time of their scan. You've mentioned It completely fades In just under an hour, which means a portion of It will disappear In half that time, hence their scanner did not Identify It.

My phone can scan the label alright but their scanner wont scan. Would have been the perfect LIT as the print will vanish in exactly 55 mins.
