Does this mean there's nothing I can do?  btw I don't think he's actually disappeared but is on holiday and has only replied to odd messages in his group (I guess perhaps just the simple ones?)  I'm just panicking a bit because Im running out of time. 

I can't speak for the refunder but In terms of the SE, given tracking Is marked as return to sender, you still have another opportunity to hit the SE using another method.

Yes, I realised that myself this morning! I think I was panicking a bit too much to think straight when I originally posted. I've spent the day doing the research I should have done initially and have come up with an outline of how I can move forward with current issues and will continue reading/researching before I do anything else!

Any advice would be very gratefully received

On a different note, I'm starting to think I'm a born SE'er ..I'm addicted I've never been tempted to do anything even slightly "illegal" in my life up until this point and only intended to do this a couple of times to help me at a particularly dire time. BUT I've realised its not about what material things you get out of it but the actual process - so as I said I'm becoming addicted
