As for FTID then yes its a 50-50 chance of working. This is why I always tell people its best to pair it up with Wrong Item Received/Junk received due to a previous SE'er.

I've read that too. From my point of view, there is currently no way that things can go wrong (when FTID + wrong item received), as stated above.
Am I missing something here? Sounds too easy at the moment.

Amazon deny ftid claims at random, they can ban your account if they don't believe you/too many SE's, etc. That's why I say its still 50-50% chance of working.

If anything goes wrong you can return the item legitimately. Always remember to keep a spare copy of the returns label in case you need to send the item back. This is why you should never use the item until you receive the refund in your bank!
