Not every structural damage warrants an Insurance claim and If It does, It's entirely your choice - pay the excess to the Insurer to cover the cost of repairs, or fix It yourself.

The representative has absolutely no say In the matter, nor does he have the right to enter your private property.

I was just gathering all my information before I get into something that could be potentially something that I'm not prepared for. Buy yes my confidence has increased.
