I understand the whole battery thing and personal safety. I was thinking along the lines like it caught fire and possibly damage to a structure. But I worry about them asking or waiting for a insurance claim and where would you go from there could that be faked or is it possible they might send a representative out themselves. Or would this be something that would be treading dangerous grounds like insurance fraud and suchQuote:So what about items like for instance a generator you know maybe saying it caught fireThis refers to any Item that's susceptible to catching fire, like (for example) Lithium-Ion batteries when they short-circuit or overheat.
As such you'd use the "disposed of the faulty Item method", by saying It was Immediately thrown In the trash due to health and safety concerns.
Quote:any idea how this will be handled.Companies have protocols In place to deal with health & safety matters, hence they must comply with their regulations.
If you add personal Injury to the SE, It will significantly Increase the likelihood of success.
