I filed the pr and they put it under a case of theft, now I called up amazon and one of the representatives are saying the investigation of the police has to be done in order for them to file a refund or a replacement. Should I bail or just keep hitting up amazon until one representative gives me what I want.

What they've told you, Is standard protocol under the circumstances.

Wait for their Investigation to complete.

Done. I was able to get the refund. Had to call support and tell them a sad story, worked on my 7th call. Thanks for all the help mothered! And everyone!!!
