Are addresses cross checked?
I was about to SE an apple Pencil from Currys with wrong item method and buying something of equal weight in store in advance. If that's not advisable then I could order on my partner's account if there is no cross checking involved or should I use a friend?

I think it depends on whoever is processing the claim. They might not care enough to go that deep with the investigation, but it never hurts to be extra safe. So I would probably order from a friend's account.
