Amazon still wants PR from me. I told them that I was at the police station and the policemen refused to report, seeing no reason to believe that there was a theft.

Did this actually happen, or have you fabricated the story?

Unfortunately, they keep saying that a police report is mandatory to do anything.

As stated In my earlier post, a PR Is only required for administration purposes and to move forward with your claim, so go ahead and file one.
