Currys PC world SE #1
Ordering an iPhone 11 from Curry's eBay store.

I have an aged account with couple reviews.

Anyone done an SE from here before and recommend a method?

Cheers

Why not directly from curry's?

But for the method apple is somewhat simple just take a picture of the serial number call apple and say the battery was leaking then return the original product to Curry's. There is only one caveat you can only do it once per account.

When was the last SE performed, Inclusive of the method and value of the Item?

I could try directly from Currys, it's just that I have seen people doing it through their eBay store instead as I would assume the claim goes through eBay rather than through Currys directly. Not sure what difference this makes though.

Surely returning the product to Curry's would make the SE pointless?

Or am I misunderstanding sorry.

No SE's have been performed on the account it is my legitimate account. Just in need of a new phone for myself so thought it could be a good opportunity.

Your account Is certainly In good standing so from that perspective, you're good to go.

In terms of the method, the phone Is a little too heavy for the missing Item/partial so apart from those, you have the rest to choose from.

Yeah, I meant you tell apple your battery was leaking and you only have the serial number Apple will replace your item and you return the item you got from Curry's to Curry's.

Surely Apple will request the damaged phone back? Also, did you show them proof of purchase?

You can't transport damaged lithium batteries through the mail. POP would be your legit receipt

Then they'll provide you with a carrier service that accepts dangerous/hazardous goods.

Can you not say you had to throw it out because it leaked onto your hands or something like that? Or would that sound too suspicious?
