You've misunderstood It.

Although there's a typo ("amazing" should read "Amazon") they're sold & shipped by Amazon. The OP Is simply stating the Importance of that, as opposed to dealing directly with 3rd party sellers.

It depends on the region.

Not every Amazon requests It, but those that do and particularly for one of the OP's Items valued at $3,699.99, It's almost a certainty.

I've never heard of this before in Europe ( I had to google OTP ) but then the most expensive item I have ordered cost 500 euro send with simple courier service and the driver didn't even ask for my signature lol so maybe for very expensive items they can do this but I think they will state its before I complete the purchase right ? or its more of a surprise surprise kind of thing!

I think I will only go for amazons products I wouldn't want to do SE anyone else than my beloved Mr J xD

as for the item never arrive option I am thinking that the driver always rings the doorbell and never leaves items outside, so even if I don't need to sign the driver will have a memory of me accepting the package right. ? they will send him to talk to me? what do I do than play crazy?

You can edit the delivery instructions.

Although rare but the driver can come to your house, call you and even talk to your neighbors. That is one issue with DNA option you will still get your refund but the driver will harass you for a couple of days.

Carrier drivers deliver anywhere between 100-150 packages per day, so I highly doubt that the driver (who has never delivered to your address) will specifically remember every movement of your package.

I still have my eyes on a good laptop like the ones I told you about but I'm still educating myself sucking up all the knowledge of your blog! I need to feel more confident first and knowledge is the first priority I believe

Basically any computer part. I would just recommend not to buy from amazon and refund it so your laptop SE can go as smoothly as possible.

If It's a single Item that you're referring to, It'll obviously need to match the value of the laptop, which will class It as high value.

As such and from a company's standpoint of how the claim will be processed, It's much of a muchness to the laptop.
